MYBA Application Procedures
MYBA Membership is available to qualified professional Yacht Brokers and Yacht Managers worldwide, who are working for a MYBA Firm.
The individual applicant must provide signatures of four sponsors who are all full MYBA members and proof of Professional Indemnity & Liability Insurance. Before acceptance is confirmed the applicant will also be invited to an interview by the Membership Committee which assures the professional and ethical qualifications of the applicant. To become a MYBA Firm, the applicant firm must have been in business for 3 years and all principals of the new MYBA firm must likewise apply for membership.
All MYBA Members have the following benefits : • Listing of your contact details on the public website www.myba-association.com • Automatic eligibility for MYBAnet subscription • A 50% reduction on MYBAnet subscription at all levels • MYBA Sales (MoA) and Charter Contracts at reduced cost • Numerous other documents available free of charge • Automatic acceptance to the MYBA Charter Show • Entry for MYBA CAs Yachts and Agents at half-price • Access to industry information via the MYBA Members’ website • Participation in and reception of The MYBA Newsletter • Benefits of MYBA industry lobbying to authorities and regulatory bodies • The opportunity to sit on committees and participate in industry developments
Please note that you do not have to be a member of MYBA to apply to the professional yacht database subscribership MYBAnet and our contracts are available to all brokerage companies worldwide.
